The last day we went to explore the swamps. New Orleans is known for its vast swamp areas and are full of mysterious stories. Again we signed up on a tour with a group. We met in French Quarter and took a bus for about 40 min out from town. When we arrived, there was a boat waiting to take us on the tour. The boat took us around the jungle-like vegetation and the guide told us about the animals and the culture around the swamp. It was very beautiful and definitely worth too see.
When we got back to our little Indian hostel we had to hurry up and take our bags, cause our plane was leaving in two hours. The trip back to Stockholm was pretty calm and we slept most of the way.
Now where home again in one piece and looking at the pictures from our trip.
